The Profal plant is technology-intensive and among the most advanced in its field in Israel and worldwide. Automation, sophistication, and technological innovation enable us not only to produce aluminum profiles of the highest quality, but also to do so while minimizing environmental impact through aluminum recycling as an alternative to mining from nature. The plant produces a wide range of aluminum profiles for the construction industry and finished products for additional industries, including electronics, security, automotive, solar energy, and furniture.
Thanks to our advanced production systems and professional team, we don’t just manufacture aluminum profiles—we provide a one-stop-shop service, all under one roof: from raw material production and material recycling, through casting aluminum billets, mold production, coatings and profiles, to adding value to the product delivered to the customer. We offer design, manufacturing, anodizing, heat treatments, surface treatment, and machining of aluminum profiles using innovative technologies.

Yerachmiel (Chilik) Levin
The Legacy of Mr. Levin, of Blessed Memory
An industrialist through and through, a self-taught engineer who acquired extensive knowledge in metallurgy, machine building, hydraulics, material strength, automation, and more—all through self-study from books and hands-on experience. Yerachmiel’s drive, passion, and attraction to the metal industry began during World War II, when his family was exiled from Poland to one of the most remote places in Russia. There, from a young age, he served as assistant and apprentice to a maintenance manager of a factory—a genius who managed to maintain and build various machines with nothing but steel railroad ties as raw materials. Upon immigrating to Israel at age 18, he served as a weapons specialist in the army and contributed his considerable talents to integrating new weapons into the IDF.
After completing his military service, he began his career in the aluminum industry at Tami, later Kalil, and was one of the pioneers of the aluminum industry in Israel. For years he served as technical manager at Kalil, then founded S.H.L, where he again demonstrated his technical abilities and built almost from nothing—a collection of used equipment that under his hands became a gold mine and a thriving plant. At an age when most people retire, he founded Profal with his children and served as CEO and mentor until his passing in 2015.
Yerachmiel represented the generation of giants—never afraid of hard work, always thinking several steps ahead, daring and taking action. A combination of a man who respected everyone, cared for his employees and those around him. A wise man with a wonderful technical sense, modest and humble. All this made him admired and beloved by all who knew him—a rare combination. May his memory be a blessing!
