Extrusion facility

At Profal we have two fully automatic extrusion lines:

• A 3000 MT press which uses 9” billets.
  The press has a front loading technology which assures a more exact extrusion process and excellent surface quality compared to the conventional back loading technology presses.
• A 1800 MT press which uses 7″ billets. The press operates using Short Stroke technology.
  Both lines incorporate the world’s most advanced cooling and heat treatment systems. These systems provide rapid cooling to maintain the desired mechanical properties of the profile. Cooling is achieved through water spray, air spray, and combined water and air spray on the profile. Two fully automated extrusion lines: profiles are automatically transported in cages without human contact from the moment the profile exits the press, through the aging oven, and until after automatic packaging. The automation in the extrusion lines allows minimal human contact, thereby preventing production deviations and damage to profile quality.
