Technological Capabilities
Years of experience and advanced technological capabilities in all aspects, from pre-production to delivery, enable us to provide our customers with the highest quality service and products, all under one roof.
- A 3,000-ton line for producing aluminum billets with a diameter of 9 inches. The line operates using Front Loading technology, enabling more precise extrusion with better surface finish compared to a conventional press with Back Loading technology.
- An 1,800-ton line for producing aluminum billets with a 7-inch diameter, operating with Short Stroke technology.
Die Design and Manufacturing
Profal offers comprehensive in-house die design and manufacturing services. We provide custom-ordered dies with a turnaround time of just three days. Utilizing advanced, full-process CNC machining, we ensure superior precision and surface quality, virtually eliminating the need for manual finishing.
Aluminum Scrap Sorting Line
As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, Profal operates an advanced aluminum recycling facility. Collected scrap undergoes rigorous sorting using magnetic separation, Eddy Current, and X-ray technologies. This multi-stage process guarantees the supply of high-purity, clean aluminum to our foundry.
Quality Management System
Profal is ISO 9001:2015 certified and is currently in the advanced stages of implementing the AS9100 C aerospace standard.
Cooling Control
During the thermal treatment phase (quenching), we utilize a computerized, multi-media cooling chamber. This system allows for precise control over the quenching process, which is critical for the integrity and mechanical properties of the final product:
- Cooling Rate Control: Dynamic adjustment based on the geometry of the profile, ensuring uniform thermal treatment even for the most complex cross-sections.
- Nozzle Orientation Control: Precision control over the angle of the quenching media delivery.
- Flow Rate Regulation: Exact monitoring and adjustment of the coolant throughput.
- Versatile Media Selection: Ability to switch between mist, water, or air quenching to suit specific alloy requirements.
- Enhanced Capabilities: This technology enables the production of highly complex profiles using hard alloys that were previously considered impossible to manufacture.
Profile Size and Weight:
*Profile size depends on geometry and alloy.
- Diameter: 310 mm
- Maximum Circumscribing Circle: 280 mm
- Maximum Single Bar Weight: approx. 125 kg
- Weight per Meter: 0.1 to 30 kg/m
